SPECIAL 39TH ANNIVERSARY MESSAGE BY BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO

TITLE: THANKSGIVING, GATEWAY TO OUR NEXT LEVEL OF BLESSING.

MINISTERING: BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO 

(SUNDAY, MAY 3, 2020) (1ST SERVICE)

- The reason we have not been grounded is because we have not taken your acts for granted. Thank you for the grace of a heart of gratitude that you granted to this Commission since inception. Receive our thanks in the name of Jesus, thanks you father.

You know the reason we are joyful here is because we are grateful.

You cannot be grateful and not be joyful You can’t be joyful and not be ‘songful’. 

And you know why God remains in our presence?, He inhabit the praise of His people. If you are genuinely grateful, you have been sincerely joyful and you have been truly praiseful; you will enjoy the manifold presence of God at a natural frequency. May this become the lifestyle of everyone under the sound of my voice today. If you have lost anything, God said to me to tell the church, ‘I am the reason why you have not lost everything.’

-Your greatest asset is your breath, Ps. 150; 6. Therefore let everything that still has breath… Now he may not have a house but he has breath. When your breath goes, you are nothing. The wealthiest man in the world can’t sign any cheque when his breath goes. Here you are jumping day-in, day-out, since January till now. You have traveled the same road that many people travelled and they never return. That’s why we owe God gratitude for the gift of life that only He can sustain and has been sustaining. 

-Please, be grateful, it is costly to be ungrateful. Be grateful and you will enjoy fulfilled life. Until you start jumping in praise, you don’t jump levels. Therefore, grace for unending gratitude as a lifestyle, I release it upon everyone under the sound of my voice worldwide in the name of Jesus, so shall it be.

I decree that everyone that has seen the 39th anniversary will be alive in their new status by the 40th anniversary next year. No one shall be buried in your family in the name of Jesus. You will not drop off from the Faith; you go stronger by the day, amen.

-There shall be the strangest order of breakthrough in this 40th year.

No believer can survive in the faith without being committed to fellowship, Heb 3: 13, Heb 10: 25. No one, no matter how anointed can survive in the faith without fellowshipping. We all know that a telephone, no matter how costly it may be, if not charged, cannot deliver. So no matter how anointed we are, we will continue to require being charge to remain in charge. If you have a rechargeable torch and you don’t have time to charge it, the battery will go flat, the light will go off, and darkness will come back.

Therefore, let your light so shine, we are the light of the world, Matt. 5; 14-15. We are the spiritual rechargeable torch; no matter how costly, it may be gold torch, if you don’t charge it, the battery will go flat, the light will go off and darkness will come back. It’s not that the darkness is powerful, it’s because your light is off.

Some encountered the hand of God and suddenly can’t find it anymore because their light has gone off. If you are not in Church, you will be on your way to being in cult, I tell you. So let me speak to all those holding public offices, don’t toil with your life. You are not in Church; you will soon be in cult. Nature abhors vacuum. Please remain committed to fellowship; it’s the only way to keep your spiritual battery charge; and to keep your light shining. Don’t you ever toil with it.

-Please stay committed, don’t let any lockdown lock you off God’s presence. Jesus, the living word himself had to create fellowship platform around himself. The Apostles came and they were in fellowship to stay on course with divine purpose; to command triumphant lifestyle, Heb. 5; 12. Everybody needs fellowship, no matter ones calling, no matter the anointing upon anyone, you don’t commit to fellowship, you battery is on the way going flat. Darkness is on the way coming back and the later end of such individual is always worse than the beginning. God forbid!!

- There shall be strange lifting, may no one here disqualify himself from it. When God sees that He is likely to lose you, He will keep you where you are. So develop a crave for God, develop a crave for His presence because that’s where He will show you the path of life which puts you in command of the supernatural, Heb. 12: 22-24. So you are either going from strength to strength or from weakness to weakness. Like they say (in unction) ‘Going! Going!! Going!!! Gone.’ He keeps going and going and going and then gone. Things that eyes have not seen or ears heard are already here; may no one disqualify himself from his portion.

Ps. 67: 5-7 is going to be your new song. The kind of blessings that cause nations to fear is coming. Authority in every human endeavour shall be domicile in the end time Church, which we are. God’s end time agenda is that ‘who is who in every spheres of life shall be located in the end time Church. The kind of giants that has never known in human history shall begin to emerge.

-So it’s time to build spiritual capacity by being committed to fellowship where you start going from strength to strength. Jer. 3: 15-16. And one of the things that will characterise the end time is the act of gratitude that will culminate in joy and rejoicing.

-We are redeemed for next levels of experience in life, Pro. 4: 18 God’s agenda for our lives is to be shining more and more, not more or less. ‘I have not designed life as ups and downs for my people, but ups and ups’. The word you believe and receive is what empowers you to become. God’s plan guarantees a future for His children, Jer. 29: 11 (RSV).

1) We understand from the scriptures that until we thank God for the last, we cannot commit Him for the next. So every change of level is triggered by thanksgiving, Lk. 17: 17-19.

2) We do not only thank God for what has happened, we give thanks to make things happen, 1Thess. 5: 18, Heb. 10: 36.

3) Thanksgiving is the gateway to our next levels of breakthrough, Habb. 3: 17-19. He changes my story as I keep celebrating His faithfulness. Thanksgiving, gateway to our next levels of blessings. 

4) Thanksgiving, gateway to our next level of victory, 2Chro. 20: 1, 12, 17-24. Next level victory triggered by thanksgiving. Let your thanksgiving and praise come from the heart, it will lead to next level victory, where you are a spectator in your own battle.

5) Thanksgiving is the gateway to our next level of anointing, Ps. 92: 1-2, 10-12, Ps. 100: 4. Next level of anointing is provoked by thanksgiving and praise. As you gain access to His presence, then you qualify for anointing with fresh oil, Ps  89: 20.

6) Thanksgiving is the gateway to next level of Church growth, Jer. 30: 19. Supernatural Church growth is triggered by high level of praise.

7) Thanksgiving is gateway to next level of command of the supernatural, Jn. 6: 6-11, Jn. 5: 25. Be thankful, that is how this virtue will keep multiplying in this 40th year, Joel 2: 1-11.
