The Make or Break Moments

At the time I heard him say this, I began to ponder over the connection between knowing God's word and giving a daughter's hand in marriage. But now it is becoming clearer to me! God required each king of Israel to write every word of the law on a scroll when they ascended the throne (Deut.17:18). God did not want a 'stranger' to his word ruling over His people! If God didn't want anyone unfamiliar with His law as king, why would you want him or her as a spouse?! Solomon counsels, "Remember now your creator in the days of your youth, before the difficult days come..." Eccl.12:1 That the difficult days will come is a certainty.
