Once every week, mostly vigils, my mum and her friends would meet to pray. And the prayer sessions were always 'no holds barred'. I mean they prayed about anything and everything. If one of their children needed university admission or a job, that was the place to fight it out with prayers. If any child was becoming rebellious, that was the place to table it before the Lord. If any of their husbands bid for a contract or needed a promotion at work, that would be the prayer point! And God was answering them!
